Antonia Moran has lived in Mansfield for more than 50 years. She has a graduate degree from UConn and also holds a UConn law degree. Currently retired, she served as the State Coordinator for the AAUP and taught state and local government and law at CCSU for 20 years, where she also headed the Center for Social Research. She has been on the Town Council since first elected in 2009 and became Mayor in 2019. She has served on the Mansfield Downtown Partnership Board since 2011, and currently chairs the Finance and Growth Committee.

She considers her role as a Town representative on the Partnership Board as one of the most important opportunities for furthering town economic development, protecting taxpayers’ interests, building effective collaborations with UConn and contributing directly to improving the quality of life.
