Frank Gifford
 

Frank Gifford has been with the UConn Foundation since 1995, serving most recently as associate vice president for development. His responsibilities include providing oversight and mentorship to a team of twenty development staff supporting fundraising in the University’s Schools and Colleges. Frank is a major gift fundraising specialist with significant background in organizational and strategic planning. He began working at the University of Connecticut in 1993 as a special assistant to the President. At the Foundation, Frank has held a broad scope of roles and responsibility, among them director of campaign operations for Campaign UConn, director of corporate and foundation relations at the UConn Health Center, and senior director of development for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Frank earned his master’s degree in economics from UConn in 1994. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of New Hampshire.

The Gifford family resides in Mansfield and are active in several social, civic and charitable organizations. Frank has long demonstrated his personal commitment to building community in both his personal and professional life.
